Master renew its line of hinges with Extrema, the door hinge created to combine top performances, design and easy assembly. The new hinge has passed the tests in accordance with norm EN 1935:2004, with 160 kg load capacity for 2 wings version (Picture 1) and 200 kg for 3 wings version (Picture 2). New extruded aluminum carters allow the anodized gold, silver, bronze and satin inox finish (Picture 1 – Picture 2), guaranteeing a higher resistance also to external climate conditions. Extrema assembly on cold profiles is the same as Big hinges, that is by counterplates and self-centering bushes. On thermal break profile, it is possible to reduce assembly time and to avoid the use of bushes, counterplates and spacers, thanks to specific expansion self-centering bushes. This bush, with M12 external thread, can be fixed punching a 11mm hole (Picture 3). Then you apply the two screws that force the expansion self-centering bushes to firmly fix within the profile (Picture 4). The door is ready to be installed and adjusted, without removing carters or dismount the sash. Extrema can be easily adjusted, like the Big hinges, in the space (+/- 2 mm), height (+3 mm) and coplanar (+/- 1 mm). An additional locking screw fix definitively the hinge and ensure the correct functioning over time (Picture 5). The accessory also has an anti-breaking device, which does not allow breaking open the door from the outside.
