After a four-year forced hiatus due to the pandemic, the BAU in Munich, from 17 to 22 April, did not disappoint the market’s expectations, returning with significant numbers in terms of visitors, around 190,000, and with over 2260 exhibiting companies from 49 countries worldwide. The latter figure is clearly up on previous editions, confirming a very animated sector.
As always, the event was well organised and focused on the most topical issues in the construction sector, from reducing emissions to the even more modern and up-to-date topic of automation and home automation.
Master, had the merit of fully hitting the theme of the 2023 edition of BAU, in a stand with a tech concept that brought to the attention of its visitors all the innovation of APRO, Master ‘s range of solutions for window automation that can transform any window or door into an integrated home automation element.
APRO ‘s innovation was presented in an Experience Room in which all the different solutions of the Master automation line coexisted, applied on windows and doors with bottom hung, top hung, casement, tilt and turn and on TUTTAVISTA minimalist sliding systems, in both concealed and profile-mounted versions. All elements could be operated via the APRO pushbutton panels, or through the APRO APP mobile application also integrated with Google voice assistants.
“We are very pleased with the results of this event. The numbers are positive, with several hundred contacts among customers, partners and stakeholders in general. These are gratifying numbers that confirm how the Master Group is now increasingly an internationally recognised brand,” are the words of Francesco Simone, Commercial Director of the Master Group. “The quality of the visitors and the interest in the innovative solutions we exhibited at the fair reflect how the strategic investments the Group has made in recent years are in line with the trends of an evolving industry. This allows us to look forward to what can happen in the markets in the coming years”.
In addition to APRO, there has been a great deal of attention paid to other solutions developed by Master in recent years, with a focus on products such as the limiting arms for casement and tilt-and-turn windows, the CILINDRIKA slim design hinge for door profiles, the brand new UNA and EXTRA corner joint lines, all products from the WEEN tilt-and-turn programme , in both standard and hide versions, and the handles from the ITALIA and KARMA LINE.
“It was a very interesting BAU for our group,” were the words of Michele Loperfido, CEO of the Master Group. “We are very satisfied with the interest that our products have aroused among the stakeholders in our industry, from designers to window manufacturers, from system houses to dealers, from contractors to designers. It is a clear sign of how our solutions really succeed in responding to some of the most current market trends, contributing effectively to improved living comfort, safety, and minimalism in the design of the window of the future”.
