The project is aimed at assessing the impact on the climate along the life cycle of the most representative products of the company to calculate the ‘carbon footprint’ of the same, that is, the total amount of greenhouse gases emitted, with the aim of reduce it. As part of the collaboration will evaluate all possible measures for reducing and offsetting carbon footprint, in particular, within the first few months of 2014 will be proposed to the Ministry of the assessment results and more sustainable and efficient interventions to improve production processes and reduce emissions, the use of more environmentally friendly technologies to best practices in supplier selection.
