Summarising, it is this more than positive balance of the presence at the New York AIA Conference on Architecture 2018, the most important event dedicated to the world of architecture and construction in the United States which, from 21 to 23 June saw the participation of more than 20 thousand building professionals, amongst which architects, project managers and manufacturers of aluminium windows and doors, who thronged the more than 200,000 square metres of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, dedicated to the stands of 500 companies from all over the world. “Supported by the staff of our commercial partners in the United States, American Douglas Metals, we structured the two days in New York with the primary objective of promoting the brand in markets of great interest such as those of the USA and of Canada”, Albert Ryzkhou, export manager of Master Italy told us. “Indeed, at this time the building sector, and above all in the state of New York as with all the West Coast of the United States, is growing in double figures thanks above all to high level of residential building projects aiming at the recovery of former industrial and port areas. In meeting window and door manufacturers who visited our stand, we gained many acknowledgements of our capacity for developing and making immediately available high-quality products for them, customized by characteristics and finish which perfectly meet the rigid production standards imposed by American certification”. “I found AIA’18 to be a complete success. I feel now is the time to invest in this market as we work to become the quality standard in commercial fenestration hardware and Aluminum solutions.” Amongst the product solutions which attracted the most interest of visitors to the New York fair: – Handles and Cremone systems of the Italia Line, presented at New York in their latest extended range with the Minimal Design version, designed to answer the requirements of interior designers seeking simpler lines and minimal presence; – WiCloud, the intelligent and invisible system for automating windows, in America sought in the version with remote control or connected to other home automation apps; – the WEEN programme, a range of modular and performing solutions for awning windows, presented in versions with hidden hinges WEEH HIDE 110 and WEEN HIDE 180. with panel openings of 110° and 180° respectively. “The Empire System line also went down very well, accessories for continuous facings, essentially made up of a perimetral closure system and a series of arms for a protrusion movement which struck the American architects due to the functionality and comfort of the cremone system, of the de-aligned handle which facilitates opening of the frame, as with the AS300, the programme of accessories for sash windows, devised for combining high performance and manoeuvrability of the frames”, continued Ing.
